ellarienThe Mount Wilson Director's Blog has been updated with impressions from yesterday and today -- and an appeal for donations to help pay for the cleanup and bring the place up to code. Firefighters have been sleeping on the floor of the 100-inch telescope.
Things are still looking cautiously optimistic up there, though they aren't completely safe yet. That end of the fire is not contained yet, though the western end is.
