One of the bottle brush trees is starting to come out.

I should make the most of the pansies; there may not be any more for a while. Budget cuts, of course. The Arizona economy is a mess, and the state government has always had a tendency to see education as a soft target, so vast expanses of bedding plants have suddenly become an unaffordable extravagance, as have the campus fountains. They can't tell the cacti not to flower, though.
