ellarienThe other night there was a young man on the bus with a four-inch, forest green mohawk. That's not something you see every day in these parts.
It's been amazingly mild here all day, but there's supposed to be a storm coming, and I think they said there was already snow on the mountains. In fact, I think I can hear the wind getting up now, and the wind-chimes downstairs tinkling.
I've been in a state of low-level computer annoyance all day because of the urgent security patch for IE -- which I don't use if I can possibly avoid it. Work laptop nagged me about rebooting at ten-minute intervals all day; home laptop just went ahead and tried to reboot itself -- and stuck. Also there was a Firefox update for the work workstation, which informed me that I should upgrade to Firefox 3, for which it doesn't have the requisite libraries ...
