Not as a rule. This is of course all my own fault, because I don't let them out (bad road just by the door, with a too-tempting park beyond it); they sit in windows and plot the Death of Birds.

Only time we had Prey in the house, it was an escaped pet mouse from next door, that moved in while I was catless. Then Barry arrived, all butch and macho and evil killing machine - and I did indeed find the mouse dead, but without a mark on it, and he was entirely keeping his distance from the thing. I reckon it scared him half to death, and he scared it all the way...
