I knew these grew in Hawaii, but I hadn't realized they were trees, and it took me a while to recognize them for what they were, though I saw the dark foliage and clusters of white flowers as the plane was coming in to land. The blossoms drop in fairly good condition, and I saw several of the younger women at the conference wearing one behind one ear.

(I'm home, by the way. I was up at 4.30 by Hawaiian time, and I got in at 9pm local, so I'm tired but not overtired, and have some hope of getting to be at reasonable hour and sleeping, but I've been not much more than semi-functional all day.)
