Efficiency is not happening today. I crossed four things off the list, and did some desultory chivvying of things back into their proper places, but no laundry got done. I took a couple of cold pills in the hope they would deal with the sinus headache, which they did to some extent but left me rather sleepy, as usual. Dinner preparation is not going well; I forgot to turn on the heat under the pasta-and-veg, and dropped the half of the half-pound salmon fillet I was hoping to save for later on the dirtiest part of the kitchen floor.

Tomorrow, I need to be a domestic whirlwind.
