(Belated) Friday Flower

ellarienFrom the hedge on the west side of my apartment complex, taken as I was passing by on my way home from the bookstore trip. (Yes, I am now well-stocked with Dresden books, and am about half-way through the first of the batch.) The oleanders usually have a few flowers year-round, but the main flush is round about now, towards the end of the spring flowering season. The pink and white ones didn't do too badly in the winter frosts, but the yellow ones, which I think are a different subspecies, suffered a lot.
