(no subject)
Apr. 20th, 2007 08:21 pmI am home, after a smooth but lengthy journey across southern NM and AZ. No words were generated en route, but I did have some last-minute plot twists and writhes manifest themselves. Also I read a whole book, which makes two this week, which is a lot by recent standards even if they weren't terribly long. The incoming Amazon parcel contains four new ones, however, so the New Backlog continues to grow.
The most notable thing seen on the road was the sunset, during which at one point I10 was headed directly at an enormous -- about three times the normal size -- red sun. We hit an eastward-bound weather system, with clouds and dust, somewhere around the AZ/NM border; the weather on the mountain had been perfect, if a bit windy.
Very tired now, and not really intending to attempt to write.
