ellarienDidn't sleep well last night -- altitude, probably. Gave the talk I came here to give. It went quite well. I'm pretty sure I was right to decline the opportunity to do a dress rehearsal in Tucson on Monday, though. There's something about an actual audience that switches me on in a way that dry-runs don't, particularly dry-runs when I'm tired and cranky. Had useful discussions with various people, winding up with one over a nice Chinese dinner.
Tried for a couple of shots of dead brown seed-heads on the way in this morning, but the light wasn't good enough for the autofocus to lock on.
Oh, and they fixed the internet.
