I wrote over 1200 words today. As soon as I closed the file, I realized that most of them were probably from the wrong POV. Or maybe not. It's tricky;
my protagonist's mind has been interfered with, chemically and otherwise, which makes him temporarily a rather unreliable narrator; also I'm still figuring out what the bad guys are up to. (I know what their goal is; methods are a bit fuzzier.)
Curiously enough, both this story and Vortex involve attractive blondes who mess with the mind of my hero, (who's happily married to a brunette). The one in Vortex was actually an alien, but entirely benign; current one is human, and not benign at all. Hero's sidekick seems to be disposed to be interested in the second one, oddly enough.
