Silly dreams ...

This is going to make no sense to most of you -- it doesn't make much sense to me -- but I had a dream this morning,
in which Admiral Harriman Nelson was having a visit from a rather older future version of himself. They seemed to be getting along well enough, hanging out on deck; the older one had white hair and improbably bushy eyebrows. Harry suddenly decided to call the other one 'Tony,' for no obvious reason. (Harriman Anthony Nelson? Hmmm.) Then Tony picked up a sidearm and began shooting at passing fish, quickly bagging enough to feed the whole crew.
I blame NPR, at least for the 'Tony' bit. It's usually fairly safe to blame NPR for my early-morning dreams.
In the meantime, I'm getting no forwarder with the writing, but another story -- or at least a bit of indulgent fluff that might do as the setup for a story -- is telling itself to me.
