Mar. 12th, 2010 11:28 pmHaving perused the program for the Tucson Festival of Books, I have wild ambitions to get up early enough to take in four panels tomorrow and maybe two or three on Sunday. As sore and tired as I am at the moment (mostly allergies, I think, and a shoulder that still hasn't quite recovered from last week's travels) I'm not sure how likely that is, but the one must-see thing is the Shadow Unit panel at 2.30.
I'm kind of tempted to wear a spring skirt. It's funny -- anywhere else, the weather we've been having lately would be sufficient excuse for breaking out the spring wardrobe, but for me low-60s is three-layer cold. (Blouse, sweater, and two jackets yesterday, and I was still chilly waiting for the bus in the evening.) It's supposed to be mid-70s tomorrow, which is warmer than it's been for a while.
(I don't do cons, so the idea of meeting real authors face-to-face is something of a novelty.)
