Halfway home
Dec. 17th, 2009 01:51 pmI left my hotel at 7am (after setting the alarm for 5.30 and then going back to sleep for another hour), trundled down to the BART station, and made it to my gate at SFO with nearly two hours to spare. At least that way I seem to have dodged most of the crowds. Taking the Millbrae train to San Bruno and then transferring may have helped make for less cramped experience; not so much luggage on the main leg of the trip, and only airport people on the last stop.
Now I'm in Las Vegas, wondering why the Wi-Fi is now "a holiday gift from Google" when it was free last time I came through here in April.
