The Behemoth laptop seems to be working fine, though the infusion of caffeine hasn't made it go any faster.
The temptation to run out tomorrow and buy the only Best Buy model with the right specs is greatly reduced, though not completely eliminated. The alternative to dealing with their pushy and less-than-clueful salespersons would be to buy directly from Dell, and I don't think I'd notice if they spammed me any more than they are already. But I can wait. I think.
