On-purpose necklace
Feb. 8th, 2009 06:01 pmNecklace number 1, "Spring," the most straightforward of the ones I have planned; it came out pretty much exactly the way I imagined it in the store. The round beads are jade stone, the square ones are (dyed) shell, and the pendant is printed resin; I had to attach the bail and jump ring myself.

Note to self; if you have equal lengths of two kinds of beads of unequal lengths and alternate them, the longer ones will get used up faster.
Also, it's surprisingly difficult to get springy wire not to twist and cross over in the crimp tube.
