(Hollow Laughter)
Jan. 22nd, 2009 10:08 pmMy ISP generously offers me "5GB of online storage to safely and securely back up all of your digital pictures, favorite videos and more."
Granted, this is rather more spacious than the 50Mb of web server space that comes with the account. On the other hand, the Pictures folder on the desktop is slightly over 30GB at present -- over 7GB just in the scanned-slides subfolder.
(I do have an offsite backup strategy. It involves a matched pair of portable quarter-terabyte drives, which take turns to live in my desk drawer at work.)
