The Lion-cam has been down since some time this morning, which makes me sad. I had a lot of fun over the weekend, watching teeny paws and tails waving, little heads popping up, and unsteady little legs wobbling across the bedding -- not to mention Mama Lion's occasional goofy sleeping poses and the faint dapples on her belly. At one point there were three cubs sleeping in a snuggle off to the side, occasionally stirring and settling again when one of them got restless, and and the fourth tucked in along the mother's flank.
It might be easier to make myself write if I could promise myself some cub-watching when my words were done.

Edit@12.55: And we have lions! Four flat-out cubs on the right, twitching the occasional ear; flat-out mother on the left.
