does Word think that "unwrap" is an intransitive verb?

Silly Word.

I have been very domestic today; I dusted and polished the bedroom for the first time in nearly six months, vacuumed, descaled the kettle and coffee maker with white vinegar, cleaned the microwave, stovetop and kitchen counters, cleaned off the tops of the tall bookcases in the study, and tucked the printed photos from last summer into the album. White vinegar is amazingly effective for descaling purposes, at least with Tucson levels of limescale; I don't remember it being quite so useful in London. The filter on the kettle disintegrated, but I suppose nine years is pretty good going for a fine plastic mesh that's boiled several times a day, and the kettle works without it. (I love my electric kettle; I'm British enough to feel that a home really isn't a home without one.)

I still have to clean the kitchen floor and the bathroom, but that can wait for tomorrow.

Also, I'm supposed to be writing another 1200 words tonight, and I haven't started yet. Rubbing my own nose in the kind of domestic degeneration that happens when I'm putting time and energy into writing isn't exactly encouraging ...
