Tree Morning Glory Tree Morning Glory
UA campus, February 2008

I went down to the far corner of campus where the little peach tree is, but it wasn't out yet, though the buds are definitely swelling. So I took a turning I haven't taken before -- and couldn't have, I think, because of construction, for most of the time since I got the first digital camera -- and came on this in an odd little corner of the campus. According to the label, it comes from the Mexican tropics. The flowers are not large, and they were of course in the topmost branches. Sometimes digital zoom has its uses, though I probably could have done just as well by cropping it myself.

(There was also a peculiar sculpture, a sunken expanse of dead grass that looked as though it wanted to be a pond, some moderately interesting buildings, and an enormous satellite dish behind the old gym. I shall have to explore around there some more one of these days.
