I might have been more active yesterday if I hadn't been up much too late the night before, listening to Spaniards and Tunisians discussing North African politics after the Indians and Uzbeks had gone home from the holiday get-together. (There was an online computer handy, so from time to time someone would jump up to check Google/Wikipedia/CIA factbook.) As it was, I had a very pleasant downtime sort of day, the most relaxing I've had in quite a while; I did a little gentle computer-wrangling, shifting the Palm's home base over to the Vista machine, and watched a couple of movies (the 2005 Pride and Prejudice, which I like well enough as long as I cut it off before that ghastly last scene, and Shrek III, which was ... fun, but not as good as the first two) and an episode of SG1 (10.17, Talion, which was rather distressingly short on warm fuzziness.)
Today seems like another good day not to go shopping. I might try some writing, later.
