This really is the time when everything blooms at once. The roses are weighed down with flowers, and the archway wall behind the rose garden is covered in brilliant yellow flowers, and then there are the hedgehog cacti and the rust-red ocotillo tassels and the gold of the palo verde .... and all of it will be nearly over in a couple of weeks.
