Bookspoils from Las Cruces
Jun. 18th, 2006 11:07 amIf anyone's interested, the place is called COAS: My Bookstore; it's in downtown Las Cruces, NM, and it's huge -- two or three buildings joined together, and a claimed stock of going on half a million books, reasonably well organized. I was reminded, in mind-boggling fashion, how many books there are that aren't SF and fantasy, but I confined my depredations to the SFF shelves.
Steven Brust, The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars
Steven Brust, Agyar
Steven Brust and Megan Lindholm, The Gypsy
Martha Wells, The Death of the Necromancer
K. D. Wentworth, The Imperium Game
K. D. Wentworth, Moonspeaker
I also picked up a nice full-sized hardcover copy of Cherryh's Foreigner, to match the rest of the set and replace the book-club edition that replaced the original mmpb.
