Not at my most efficient today

I grabbed my camera and headed for the grocery store, hoping to catch the beavertail in bloom on the way. There were indeed a few flowers open, and I communed with them and the surrounding aloes, agaves and evening primrose for a while. Then I realized I hadn't girded on my purse, so I had to walk back again to fetch it. Fortunately it isn't far -- probably less than a quarter of a mile. Then I got so excited about getting salad and deli cheese and salmon that I completely forgot to buy bread, but that's OK; I keep a pack of crispbread around for such emergencies.
