Thursday randomness
Mar. 23rd, 2006 09:03 pmI like the song 'Long long journey' on Enya's latest album, Amarantine. I really do. So how come, every time I'm working and listening to that album (which is at least twice a week), that song slides right by without ever impinging on my consciousness?
Amazon claims to have shipped my copy of Crystal Dragon a couple of days ago, but the USPS is still disclaiming all knowledge of the tracking number, which is a bit worrying.
No, I haven't done any more writing this week, or last. I'm on a headlong back-to-back reread of Cherryh's Atevi series, which reliably keeps me up until well past midnight, and I still have no spare energy to speak of, though slightly more than I had last week. Possibly I'm blocked on the realization that if I skim over the dodging-cameras-all-over-town bit, I still have to figure out a way to get my heroine into the docking caverns with at least the plausible belief that the authorities haven't noticed.
I wonder if atevi would enjoy sudoku, or if there's too much potential for infelicity in the numbers.
There are no buds on the chollas at all that I can see, and I'm sure there were by this time last year. There are some on the hedgehog cacti, though.
