I'm back at work, and getting back into the groove without too much trouble, after a slightly rocky start to the making-coffee and getting-out-of-the-door parts of the morning.
I walked into the bookstore this lunchtime and found a stack of copies of The Lighthouse, the new P. D. James mystery. That was a nice surprise; I hadn't realized it was due yet. For SF and fantasy I'm well enough plugged into the online information sources that I hardly ever get surprised like that any more, but I don't follow mystery news quite as obsessively.
