Good things about today: hedgehog cactus flowers, as lavish and springlike in their way as crocuses; delivery of my copy of [livejournal.com profile] naominovik's His Majesty's Dragon; the maintenance man fixed my toilet.

Bad things: allergies and probably related tiredness; leaving later than I meant to this morning because I frst managed to lock myself out of my bedroom and then couldn't find my bus pass.
