I have a new USB flash drive. It's about the size of two sticks of gum, with a blue LED on the end, and holds 256 Mb -- about the same as the hard drive in the high-end PCs of 1991 or thereabouts.

I know that such things have been built into penknives; it strikes me that there might also be a market for more frivolous packaging. It wouldn't be too hard to build something like that into a pretty pendant, or a B5-style 'data crystal'.
