ellarienI missed my bus this morning, and decided to walk one stop down the road. There's a bank on that corner, and outside it was a lovely display of flowers, all bright and sparkling in the morning sun and the gentle mist of the sprinklers: poppies; marigolds; phlox.
Also, I came home to a shiny new bathroom sink, so I can hope that the plumbing epic is concluded. Really, it could have been a lot worse; it created very little mess and required nothing more from me than a few phone calls and a little juggling of buckets.
