Fall sunshine
Oct. 24th, 2005 07:58 pmToday was one of those cloudless, perfect October days. I'm not a big fan of modern architecture, but on days like this I'm rather fond of the new student union building on the campus; it was built for this kind of weather, with open balconies and stairways that frame trapezoids of achingly beautiful blue. The light glows through the petals of the chorisia flowers, and glances off the spines and waxy fruit of the barrel cactus, and caresses the newly-planted pansies, highlighting delicate veins.
