Bad housekeeping

ellarienI discovered last night, on the point of dishing up supper, that all the dinner-plates were in the dishwasher, awaiting washing. This was unexpected, as I usually run out of dishwasher-space before I run out of plates. I ate supper off a salad plate, and ran the dishwasher. This evening I realized why the dishwasher managed to absorb all the plates; I'd left the week's pans in the sink. I guess I'll be running it again ahead of schedule.
Oh, well. The new bookshelves are coming tomorrow, which should give me some incentive to get a bit more organized.
